SAVANNAH, Ga. - Armstrong Atlantic State University junior women's tennis standout Barbora Krtickova picked up a pair of academic honors last week, earning Capital One/CoSIDA Academic All-District III At-Large team honors as well as Peach Belt Conference All-Academic Team honors.
Krtickova, who carries a 3.59 GPA in health science, was named to the Capital One/CoSIDA Academic All-District III squad and will now be eligible for Academic All-America honors. The native of Nove Mesto Nad Metuji, Czech Republic, was one of four Peach Belt Conference women's tennis student-athletes named to the team.

Kritckova was also named to the Peach Belt Conference's annual All-Academic Team for women's tennis for a second consecutive season. She was one of 12 student-athletes named to the team, which is part of a season-long program recognizing the outstanding accomplishments of PBC student-athletes in the classroom as well as on the field. To be eligible for the All-Academic team, a student-athlete must 1) participate in at least half of his/her team's events and be either a starter or significant contributor; 2) achieved a 3.30 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) and 3) completed at least one full academic year at his or her current institution.
