LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Armstrong Atlantic State University head tennis coach Simon Earnshaw has been named the DII Women's Tennis National Coach of the Year by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) on Tuesday evening.

Leading a young squad with only one senior to an undefeated record and a spot in the NCAA Championship Round of 16, Earnshaw was named conference coach of the year for the sixth consecutive season. His squad took home the Peach Belt Conference title for the ninth time in a row earlier this season and is currently ranked third in the Campbell/ITA Division II Women’s Team Rankings.

This is the fourth career ITA National Coach of the Year award for Earnshaw as he was also the recipient of the women's tennis honor in 2004, 2006 and 2009.
