Morgan Mitchell Named CS360 Primetime Performer On Wednesday

SAVANNAH, Ga. - Armstrong Atlantic State University junior midfielder Morgan Mitchell has been named a CS360 Primetime Performer this week by the website CollegeSoccer360.com, which highlights key individual performances across all NCAA divisions weekly.

Mitchell's week included a third-minute goal against then-No. 11 Rollins, becoming just the third player this season to notch a goal against the nation's leading defensive squad. She then tallied two goals in the first 12 minutes of Armstrong's 7-1 win over Georgia Southwestern, which helped the Pirates clinch at least a share of their second consecutive Peach Belt Conference regular season title.

Mitchell joins other DII Primetime Performers Stephanie Bodamer of Southern Indiana, Kerry Edwards of Dallas Baptist and Jillian Ferro of Pace.

Mitchell and the Pirates wrap up the 2011 regular season schedule on Saturday, facing No. 11 North Georgia in a 1:00 p.m. matchup in Dahlonega in a match that will determine if Armstrong wins the PBC regular season title outright or shares it with the Saints.
