Bahr, Pascutti Named To Capital One/CoSIDA Academic All-District III Soccer Squad


SAVANNAH, Ga. - Armstrong Atlantic State University women's soccer players Kelli Bahr and Kristina Pascutti have been named to the 2011 Capital One/CoSIDA Academic All-District III Women's Soccer squad, released by CoSIDA. The pair of players were each named to the first team.

Bahr earns first team honors for a second consecutive season. The senior defender carries a 3.88 GPA in early childhood education and has been the center of an Armstrong back line that limits opposing teams to an 0.89 GAA and just 9.5 shots per contest. The Middleton, Wisc., native is also a four-time PBC Presidential Honor Roll honoree and also earned honorable mention All-America honors in 2010.

Pascutti, meanwhile, was a third team honoree as a sophomore in 2010 and earns first team honors for the first time in her career. The junior forward has a 3.78 GPA in biology and was recently named the 2011 Co-PBC Player of the Year with 12 goals this season, including five game-winners. The Lilburn, Ga., native is also an All-PBC and All-PBC Tournament honoree this season.

The duo advance to national balloting for the Capital One/CoSIDA Academic All-America Women's Soccer squad, which will be announced on Wednesday, November 30th.
