MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. - The Armstrong State University men's cross country team ran eighth at the Georgia College Bobcat Invitational on Saturday morning in Milledgeville, Ga.
The Pirates finished the meet with 224 points. Augusta (56) captured the meet with host Georgia College (80) finishing second and Columbus State (89) finishing third. Valdosta State (99), Young Harris (127), Morehouse (149) and Clayton State (188) finished ahead of the Pirates.
Junior Henning Schein led the Pirates individually by finishing third over the 8K course in a time of 25:18.8. Freshman Cody Reid finished 52nd in a time of 30:10.4, while freshman Mac Gibbs finished 54th in a time of 30:17.2. Freshman Caleb Watson finished 56th in a time of 30:57.8 while freshman George Dyer rounded out the Armstrong State scoring by finishing 59th in a time of 31:10.6.
Armstrong State returns to action on Friday, September 23rd, running at the Mercer University Julius Johnson Invitational in Macon, Ga.
