SAVANNAH, Ga. - The top-ranked and defending NCAA Division II national champion Armstrong Atlantic State University men's and women's tennis teams will host NCAA Southeast Regional action this weekend after the release of the championship fields for the 2013 NCAA Division II Tennis Championships on Tuesday evening.
The Armstrong women's tennis team (24-1), winners of four of the last five NCAA Division II National Championships, will begin defense of its title on Sunday, April 28, hosting eighth-seeded Clayton State (10-11) at 10:00 a.m. at Bacon Park. The other matchup on Sunday will pit fourth-seeded Georgia College (15-11) against fifth-seeded Augusta State (16-8), also at 10:00 a.m.
The winners of Sunday's matches will meet at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 29th, to play for a berth at the 2013 NCAA Division II Women's Tennis Round of 16, to be held on May 8-11 in Surprise, Ariz.

On the men's side, the Pirates (22-1) will begin defense of their title by taking on the winner of eighth-seeded Limestone (18-7) and ninth-seeded Lincoln Memorial (14-5), who play on Saturday, April 27th, in a 2:00 p.m. first-round match. The winner faces the Pirates on Sunday, April 28, at 2:00 p.m., while the other Sunday match pits fourth-seeded Georgia College (18-6) and fifth-seeded Francis Marion (15-8) in another 2:00 p.m. tilt.
Sunday's winners will meet at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 29th, to play for a berth at the 2013 NCAA Division II Men's Tennis Round of 16, held in Surprise, Ariz., from May 8-11.
