Athletics

The Pirate Playbook, an in-depth look at Pirate athletics on ESPN 104.3 FM / 1400 AM, is on the air at 6 p.m. on Tuesday. B.J. Bennett will be the host for the show. He'll talk this week with Assistant AD for Marketing & Promotions Harold Watson about the "Party With The Pirates" this Saturday, as well as head women's soccer coach Eric Faulconer and head men's and women's tennis coach Sean McCaffrey. Baseball

The Armstrong State University baseball squad dropped all four games this week, beginning with Tuesday's 13-10 loss to Albany State in 13 innings, the third extra-inning loss for the Pirates this season.

The Pirate then traveled to Francis Marion for a three-game Peach Belt series with the Patriots. Saturday, FMU picked up a 7-1 win over the Pirates. The Patriots then completed the sweep with a pair of late-inning comebacks on Sunday, winning 7-5 and 12-3.

This week, the Pirates will host Brewton Parker in a 2:00 p.m. non-conference contest on Tuesday, then host Flagler for a three-game PBC series, beginning with Friday's 3:00 p.m. game. The Pirates and the Saints will then play on Saturday and Sunday at 1:00 p.m. each day. Live video will be available for Tuesday and Friday's games, with live stats available all week.

Softball

The No. 13-ranked Armstrong State University softball team split four PBC road games on the week. The Pirates began the week at Columbus State, dropping 5-1 and 10-7 decisions to the Cougars.

Armstrong State rebounded on Sunday with 6-2 and 2-0 wins at Georgia Southwestern. Morgan Duff hurled her first collegiate shutout in the second game, scattering nine hits.

The Pirates will host a pair of Peach Belt Conference doubleheaders this week, hosting Georgia College on Thursday at 2:00 p.m., then taking on Montevallo on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. Watch live video and view live stats of the games this week.

Men's Golf

The Armstrong State University men's golf team is in action on Monday and Tuesday at the 2017 Argonaut Cup, hosted by the University of West Florida at the Pensacola Country Club.

Men's Tennis

The No. 4-ranked Armstrong State University men's tennis team picked up a 7-2 win over No. 24 Flagler College on Saturday in its only action of the week.

This week, the Pirates host a trio of PBC matches, beginning with a 2:00 p.m. match against No. 13 North Georgia on Friday. Armstrong State then hosts Young Harris on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. and No. 5 Lander on Sunday at 10:00 a.m. You can watch live video of Sunday's matchup with the Bearcats.

Women's Tennis

No. 4-ranked Armstrong State University collected a 7-2 win over No. 8 Flagler College on Saturday in the Pirates' only dual match of the week.
