Pirate Field (Baseball)
Pirate Field, the home of the perennially-ranked Armstrong Atlantic State University baseball squad, has seen three Pirate squads advance to the NCAA Division II College World Series in 1988, 1989 and 1994. The 750 seat venue has received a series of facelifts which include the addition of new dugouts outfitted with a home dressing area and locker rooms, a press box, four batting tunnels, a new scoreboard and new netting and brick facade surrounding the playing field. Field dimensions measure 340 ft. down the lines, 380 ft. in the power alleys, and 390 ft. to center field.
